About Mindfulness for Health
We offer integrative psychotherapy and mindfulness training for high-functioning adults across Burlington and throughout Ontario. Our approach helps people move from overwhelm, burnout, and self-criticism to grounded confidence and connection. Whether in person or online, you’ll find a warm, compassionate space for meaningful, lasting change.

Our Story
Founded in 2011, Mindfulness for Health was built on the belief that healing begins with awareness, compassion, and connection. After many years in mental health and mindfulness education, our founder recognized the need for a therapy approach that moves beyond conversation to include the body, mind, and nervous system for lasting transformation.
Our integrative psychotherapy combines well-established methods like CBT , DBT, and ACT with newer, trauma-focused approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting . Over the years, we have supported individuals across Ontario in rediscovering calm, balance, and self-leadership.
At the heart of our work is deep respect for each person’s story and the understanding that growth unfolds in its own time. We offer a safe, grounded space to explore experiences with curiosity and leave feeling more whole, confident, and connected.

The Meaning Behind Our Logo
Our logo features two hands gently holding a eucalyptus stem, and each element carries a part of the story of my work. Eucalyptus is a symbol of healing, resilience, and renewal. It is a plant known for its ability to regenerate even after fire. This reflects what can happen in therapy: even when life has felt overwhelming or painful, new growth is still possible.
The eucalyptus represents the strength that emerges when we reconnect with ourselves, heal old patterns, and learn to regulate our nervous system with greater ease. The hands represent attunement, safety, and support. They hold the plant with steadiness and care, symbolizing the therapeutic space itself. Therapy is a place where you are met with compassion, curiosity, and the kind of grounding presence that helps you explore your inner world without judgment. The hands are an invitation to be held in a process that is both deep and gentle.
The colour palette reflects integration and balance. The blend of cool and warm tones mirrors the integration of mind and body, strength and softness, insight and compassion. The golden leaves symbolize the light of awareness and the possibility of transformation that comes from reconnecting with your true self. Together, the imagery captures the heart of my approach: a grounded, compassionate space for healing, where inner renewal is not only possible but already unfolding within you.
