Danusia Gronkowski is an Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist registered with the College of Occupational therapists of Ontario (COTO) and Ontario Society of Occupational Therapy (OSOT).
Danusia has 30 years of experience in Outpatient Mental Health treatment at Trillium Health Partners (Credit Valley Hospital). Most recently she has worked at Bellwood Health Services, (a residential treatment Centre for Mental Health and part of the EHN Canada Network) sharing her expertise in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Danusia earned a Bachelors in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University and a Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Toronto.
Danusia is well-respected for her warm, nonjudgmental approach where clients can gain insights about their current unhealthy patterns, and work towards rebuilding self-esteem, improved relationships and gaining healthy emotion regulation skills for improved quality of life. Clients that have made gains following treatment will also benefit from continued support and psychotherapy in order to maintain gains in integrating adaptive coping styles.
